How it all began

Shari Hamilton-Piercy's Bio

In 1991, Shari’s love and passion for dance led her to Toronto and the Professional Dance program at the “School of the Toronto Dance Theatre”. Her studies included rigorous physical conditioning which included an introduction to the Pilates technique and furthered her practice of Yoga.

Upon graduation from this 3-year intensive curriculum, she continued Pilates training at Stott Pilates and quickly became a Certified Stott Pilates Instructor. After nearly 15-years of practicing Yoga, Shari also earned her Yoga certification in 2001.

A move to Barrie in 1998 led to the studio you see today. Much to her surprise, Yoga was not too common and Pilates was yet to arrive. Shari quickly opened a small studio out of her home and has continued to grow with the city’s demands. June 2003 was the exciting day when she opened its present location at 206 Bradford Street.
